Good Hiking Shoes?.

There is no real good hiking shoes!. Do you know why?. Because hiking doesn't mean the same distance or the same terrain all the time. Let's start with

1.Light hiking : You will be happy with shoes called "Day Hikers" a slightly more rugged version of the sneakers you wear for running or walking
2.Long hiking : Or hiking that require you to carry weight on back. You will be fine with higher, stiffer boots plus hard plastic or steel shank. It won't let your boots twisting and give you feet and ankles more stability.

And be sure to look for a boot that keeps water out and dries quickly because you don't want your feet to stink too muck right?. And for me I would love to advice you Merrell Shoes.

The good things about merrell shoes is "comfortable fit" and technologies like Gore-Tex, Vibram, Polartec, Thinsulate and waterproof make them usable at any climatic conditions. Also it's doesn't cost too much for you pocket. But like I said before there is no good hiking shoes, So think about your trip carefully and consider what shoes you should have.

Customer Review: Great., 'cheap' hiking shoes
Bought these comfy hiking mini-boots for amature hiking in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee this year after trying on a pair at a serious hiking outfitters. They didn't have my size, but I knew by the way they felt, these were the shoes I wanted. That they were 'cheap' compared to most of the other choices was even better. These are great shoes - quite comfortable, lightweight, needing no break in time. I felt more stable and secure on the trails last week than when I wore regular walking shoes. These are my first ever hiking shoes b/c I just assumed those trusty Reeboks were fine....what a difference! Another nice thing is that they're not just for woods walking....they're nice enough for day trips to the zoo, museums, city parks, even shopping. Merrell has a line of casual shoes - sandals, loafers, oxfords - that I'll check out in the fall when school starts up and I'm shepherding active 10 year olds.
Customer Review: Terrific hiking boot!
I bought these hiking boots to train and wear for the Bataan Memorial Death March marathon in New Mexico last year. I barely had 60 miles on them before walking the marathon, and they were awesome. The boots are very lightweight, and very easy to break in. They were extremely comfortable, and I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat!
