Good Hiking Shoes?.

There is no real good hiking shoes!. Do you know why?. Because hiking doesn't mean the same distance or the same terrain all the time. Let's start with

1.Light hiking : You will be happy with shoes called "Day Hikers" a slightly more rugged version of the sneakers you wear for running or walking
2.Long hiking : Or hiking that require you to carry weight on back. You will be fine with higher, stiffer boots plus hard plastic or steel shank. It won't let your boots twisting and give you feet and ankles more stability.

And be sure to look for a boot that keeps water out and dries quickly because you don't want your feet to stink too muck right?. And for me I would love to advice you Merrell Shoes.

The good things about merrell shoes is "comfortable fit" and technologies like Gore-Tex, Vibram, Polartec, Thinsulate and waterproof make them usable at any climatic conditions. Also it's doesn't cost too much for you pocket. But like I said before there is no good hiking shoes, So think about your trip carefully and consider what shoes you should have.

Customer Review: Not like the previous Merrells.
I owned a pair of the original Chameleon Stretchs a few years ago. They fit perfectly with a thickly padded lining. Like walking on a cloud, I loved them.I think this is what most people remember about Merrells...the comfort. The replacement Chameleon Hex is a different shoe however. Merrell has redesigned them as the heel area is now a rigid shell with no padding. I assume this was to add durability, but it lets the hard edge rub directly against your ankle and I found it very uncomfortable, even with thick socks. My old ones I wore for days on end, the new ones I can't imagine doing the same. Merrell has a great reputation, but they need to add the "ankle padding" back to these models.
Customer Review: Very Comfortable
Comfortable and soft, but they kind of look like something Spiderman would wear, with all the webbing all over it.
